Aburi Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden in Aburi in Eastern region of South Ghana which was built in 1890. But was conceived back in 1842. Aburi is located on the Akwapim-Togo Range of Ghana. Just three quarters of an hour drive from Accra. A cross between kew gardens, the Eden project and Hyde Park
The garden occupies an area of 64.8 hectares and was founded by Governor William Brandford-Griffith and Dr John Farrell Easmon.
Aburi Garden has many features that draw plant lovers and those who just want a really cool place to chill have a picnic and just chill. The gardens have a very serene atmosphere and is very popular during national holidays as a go to place to chill or just get lost walking around.
