If you ever wondered what happens to an impact crater when it fills with water then Lake Bosomtwe is a clear example. This is apparently the only natural lake in Ghana and it is impressive to just get to.
Many people find Lake Bosomtwe if they are visiting one of the many resorts which line its shores. The lake occupies an area of 19 square miles and the water is sourced from number of small streams that tumble down the steep sides of the crater. Its a great place to go and relax and chill.
