The Coco Lounge located in Icon house Stanbic Heights has become a favorite of the Accra’s art crowd, this airy restaurant has “black-and-white tiled floors in crisp geometric patterns and ball-shaped, feather-covered lanterns hanging from its high ceilings”. The food, while casual — burgers, fish and chips, huevos rancheros and pizzas made in a wood-fired oven built from an old Fiat truck — is reliably excellent.
All we can say is that the attention to detail in Coco Lounge is amazing from the hanging lights and the presentation of food. This is a place to be seen in and experience if you are passing through Accra or when you just touch down to really help you get into the vibrant Accra scene.
