Ghana is definitely a trending location and a cool place to visit and if you have never been to West Africa before it is recommended as the first place you should stop off at before you even venture any further.
Owing to the popularity of Ghana and Accra the capital if you search in YouTube you are sure to be bombarded and at times it can be over whelming the amount of YouTubers posting videos. Many talking about their first time in Ghana experiences with a lot of focus on the party scene.
Why are the majority if Ghana You tubers female?
The majority if Ghana You Tubers are female as many are fashion bloggers or some are just first timers trying to promote and grow a channel We have been through quite a few of these channels and videos and thought it would be nice if we could rank or list the ones that could be worth watching.
Now we are not saying that the rest of the YouTube videos are not good but how many times can we all look at the Bloom bar and views of Skybar 25 and the car ride through the streets of Accra. So we have been through a lot of Ghana You Tube videos you are free to search YouTube but we recommend the following videos as a good insight into the diversity of Ghana.
Why we choose these 10 Ghana You Tubers?
We like the way some of these YouTubers have spent time with the editing and graphics. Some are clearly going to go far in this market. What we like most about some of their videos is that you get a chance to learn something new or get an insight you never knew about Ghana.
So after hours of watching we have come up with what we consider to the list of You Tuber’s and their channels that you may find interesting.

Akua Dimples
Akua Dimples is another of our favourites as another Ghanaian who just uses video to show what life is like in Ghana. Like anywhere else she takes us to the market and does her shopping and even gives tips on how to make you Cedi go far. There is no need for gloss she is real, from going to the market in Kejetia Kumasi to just talking to everyday people she meets.
Jasmine Ama
Jasmine has made the move to Ghana permanently and her YouTube channel gives a real look at how it is like managing the transition back to Ghana. Follow her on her travels as she tries to get the most from her Cedi. What we like about Jasmine is that she like others is not shy to just share what she is doing. The way she films her videos it makes you feel that you are standing right by her side. What we also like is her voice overs in the videos which give you a nice perspective.

Vanessa Kanbi
Vanassa is a workaholic on a what sometimes seems like a one woman agenda to document the whole of Ghana. hailing from Scotland and of mixed heritage Vanassa Kanbi is doing really well we like her approach her light Scottish twang adds another coat of sugar on her style and she is not consumed by all the show and glitz. Again very real and honest presenter. Vanessa has over 130 videos just on Ghana. Currently she is showcasing people and homes

Passport Heavy
Jubril Agoro and his video production company Passport heavy really made us sit up and look at their videos on Ghana. The videos were made before the Year of Return in 2019, the editoring is slick and the use of drones for some shots was breath-taking. I feel that he has definitely set a trend for reporting but this is their general professional style. We like the way Jubril was able to go into Ghana and really pull out some unsung heros and places. He only has a few videos on Ghana but we included him just for his style

Stella Shanelly
Stella Shanelly is funny and very much that real Youtuber who is from Ghana who does not mind falling over in front of the camera or falling into the water. She is always smiling and full of energy. We like how she actually puts the names of the roads and places on random roaming video. She can break into Twi at any time to speak to people and fully explains back to the camera. Sometimes watching Stella you may get nervous that when she is skipping if she is going to trip.
