Ghana content creator: Ivy Prosper

Ivy Prosper is an experienced Television Host, Reporter, Producer, Public Speaker and published Writer. Born in Ghana, she immigrated to Canada at an early age with her parents. For the last few years she has been a freelance Producer on documentary film projects with Refined Creative, a production company based in Ghana.

Ivy’s channel is all about getting insights and meeting interesting people who have moved to Ghana people like herself. As she moved back to Ghana from Canada. Her YouTube channel has a wealth of videos all very much shot in an interview or reportage style. She is focused on empowerment and showing what Ghanaian are doing and cutting through the fake news and its all about the Instagram image.

She really gets behind the scene of what is happening in Ghana, everything she does is within the reach of everyone its not all totally out there. We also love the way she has a selection of videos which give insights into and are educational. She has something for everyone. From speaking to Ghana and Hollywood celebrities to politicians to just everyday people.

Ivy describes herself as a storyteller and a journalist at heart. With a  purpose to share stories from the continent of Africa while giving us a glimpse into her personal experiences as an African, Canadian and a Black Woman as she navigates through this world. With Stories from the diaspora and the continent which are important to her whilst she tries her  best to connect and build a bridge through the stories.
