★☆☆☆☆ DO NOT GO HERE — Unsafe, Disrespectful, and Violent This was the worst dining experience of my life. My dad and I ordered food — my meal came in 15 minutes. His didn’t arrive for over an hour. We politely asked multiple waitresses and the cashier what was going on. Each time, we were told “we’re checking on it,” with no explanation. After more than an hour, I asked to have my dad’s meal removed from the bill. The cashier seemed confused. Then the manager brought me to her office. I calmly explained that we waited too long and didn’t feel we should pay for a meal that took over an hour to arrive. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager refused to take responsibility. I said we were leaving and not paying for my dad’s food. At that point, the situation turned physical. The waitress blocked the office door, and the manager physically fought me to keep me from leaving. I defended myself and ran out to find my dad. As we tried to leave, a man put his hands on me and hurt my arm in front of my father in an attempt to force payment. It was humiliating, aggressive, and completely out of line. I begged my dad to leave, but he insisted we pay to avoid trouble. I was devastated that not even my own parent protected me from being physically assaulted in a restaurant. No one should be touched, held, or blocked over a plate of food. This was not just bad service — it was abusive, threatening, and deeply unsafe. DO NOT support 233 Jazz Bar & Grill. I will be sharing this experience on every platform I can.
Why did you not just cancel the meal before it came once time had exceeded your expectations. I would have had them charged for assault. Ghana or no Ghana, no one puts their hands on me without consequential repercussions.
