So you want to go slightly upmarket maybe you want to eat in a venue which offers a siren calm atmosphere where your guaranteed all dishes will come out looking identical whatever day or time you order. Welcome to what Bristo 22 what Ghana’s tourism authority named the country’s Restaurant of the Year in 2016. Located in the residential area of Labone. It offers international culinary delights to the most discerning diners. The ambiance and causal setup is very cosy complemented by passionate staff lead by Chef Chady Hachem.
The Bistro 22 operates against very high standards and it shows the staff are friendly and very accommodating all around and the quality of food is second to none. Having eaten here we would rate the food choice and presentation slightly better than some of the venues like some of Urban Grill and La Chaumerie which offer similar service. But then we have to say it comes down to the chef and the whole supporting cast on the time you visit
Overall Bistro 22 is a good choice at any time of the day: sandwiches for lunch, a coffee on a in the garden. If you come by car there is parking but be warned that this place does get busy so try and book ahead. On some nights there is live music too
Overall the viewGhana team loved this Bristo 22 however we have to say it’s not cheap But its Well worth it for a special night out.
