Capacity Building Training Workshop for Guidance and Counseling Coordinators
Strengthening Guidance and Counselling Coordination in Ga North Municipality 🇬ðŸ‡Hope and Empowerment Foundation GH LBG (HEF-GH), in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ga North Municipal Education Directorate, presents a three-day capacity-building training workshop designed to empower school-based Guidance and Counselling Coordinators.This initiative strengthens the knowledge, professional skills and coordination of coordinators so they can better support learners’ academic, emotional, social, behavioural and career-development needs.Key areas of focus include:Mindset and character developmentEffective guidance and counselling practicesStudent wellbeing and psychosocial supportStrengthening school-based referral systemsCollaboration among education stakeholdersSupporting students’ academic achievement and personal developmentPromoting safe, inclusive and supportive learning environmentsAt HEF-GH, we believe that education is a shared responsibility — join fellow educators, counsellors and stakeholders for three days of learning, networking and practical skill-building that will transform how learners are supported in Ga North and beyond.
