Efua Sutherland Children’s Park is a public park created for children which is located opposite The National Theatre at West Ridge in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The 12-acre park is one of Accra”s biggest parks. It is named after the late Ghanaian playwright and director. Although a public park, it is open only for selected programmes.
The park has a few attractions such as a large Ferris wheel plus swings and slides. Over the years some parts of the park have seen better days and there have been campaigns for reinvestment in the park. But its still a good place where organised events are held.
