AfroRave 2026: KiDi Headlines Ghana’s Biggest Northern Music Festival – 27 December, BolgatangaThe Afrocentric music festival returns to Akayet Hotel with DJ Vyrusky, DJ Speech, Hajia4Real, Ama Burland, and a 9-hour all-night lineup spanning Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, RnB and Ghanaian hitsAfroRave 2026, presented by DTN, returns to Bolgatanga on Saturday, 27 December 2026 for its biggest edition yet. Ghana’s chart-topping artist KiDi will headline a live performance at the event, which runs from 10pm to 7am at Akayet Hotel in the Upper East Region.This year’s festival expands to a 40,000 square-foot outdoor site at the hotel, with an expected attendance of 6,000 to 8,000 people, making AfroRave one of the largest live music events in northern Ghana.KiDi Live at AfroRaveKiDi, one of Ghana’s most streamed artists and the voice behind hits like “Touch It”, “Enjoyment”, and “Mon Bebe”, brings his catalogue to the AfroRave stage for a 30-minute headline set. The performance will feature a full confetti show and dedicated lighting production.Special Guests: Hajia4Real and Ama BurlandMona Faiz Montrage, known as Hajia4Real, and social media star and influencer Ama Burland join AfroRave 2026 as special guests, adding star power to what is shaping up to be the Upper East Region’s flagship entertainment night.Production and ExperienceAfroRave 2026 features a purpose-built stage with professional LED screens, concert-grade sound and lighting, fog machines, choreographed dance routines, glow sticks, and crowd activations throughout the night. Each DJ set includes its own special-effects moment, from a live choir opening to handkerchief and balloon waves during the Amapiano set.The festival is held at Akayet Hotel, Bolgatanga, which also serves as the accommodation base for artists and crew. VIP table packages with bottle service are available on the night.
