What Does the GH¢350 Safari Valley Ticket Include?

The basic Eco Park package starts at GH¢350 for an adult and gives you access to Safari Valley’s three Eco Parks. The experience combines wildlife, nature and attractions spread throughout the forest and resort grounds.

Visitors can encounter animals including zebras, alpacas, rheas and meerkats, alongside attractions including the 580-metre canopy walk, Safari Fantasy Castle, Ant Cave, aviary, forest walkways, train rides and golf-cart rides. It’s the most affordable way to experience Safari Valley without booking an overnight stay.

Which Safari Valley Package Should You Choose?

If you mainly want to experience the wildlife, forest and Eco Park attractions, the GH¢350 adult Eco Park package is the starting point.

1. The Eco Park + Sports package at GH¢650 per adult adds access to Safari Valley’s sports facilities.
2. If you want food included, the Eco Park + Food package is GH¢850 per adult and includes lunch at Ceiba Restaurant.
3. For the fullest day experience, Eco Park + Food + Sports costs GH¢950 per adult, combining the Eco Park, lunch and sports facilities.

Families should also check the child and teen rates, which are considerably lower than the adult prices.

Eating at Safari Valley

Safari Valley has several places to eat, including its large Ceiba Restaurant. Ceiba is designed on a much larger scale than a typical resort restaurant, with capacity for around 1,000 guests, allowing it to cater for resort guests as well as large functions and events. If you choose an Eco Park package that includes food, lunch at Ceiba forms part of the experience. If food isn’t included in your package, check the available dining options when planning your visit.

Staying at Safari Valley Resort

If one day isn’t enough, Safari Valley also offers overnight accommodation. The resort has private cabins and larger accommodation suitable for couples, families and groups, spread across its extensive natural surroundings.

The accommodation makes extensive use of timber, stone and other natural materials, continuing the eco-resort design throughout the interiors. Rather than relying on fixed room prices, check current accommodation rates and availability directly with Safari Valley, as prices vary according to the room, package and dates.

The Safari Package – A Longer Ghana Stay

The resort also offers The Safari Package, which is different from its Eco Park day packages.

It combines stays across Safari Valley in Dawu, Aqua Safari in Ada and Safari Homes in Accra, allowing visitors to build a longer Ghana trip across the three destinations.

Current prices for two people on a bed-and-breakfast basis start from:

• 3 nights – GH¢6,500 per couple
• 5 nights – GH¢10,800 per couple
• 7 nights – GH¢15,000 per couple
• 10 nights – GH¢21,000 per couple

The package can be useful if you’re visiting Ghana for longer and want to combine Accra with Safari Valley and Ada rather than staying in one location.

What is Safari Valley Like?

The scale of Safari Valley is difficult to appreciate until you actually visit.

The journey through the grounds takes you into a large green landscape before reaching the main resort areas. Buildings use wood, stone and other natural materials, while electric carts help visitors travel between different parts of the complex. We’ve visited Safari Valley ourselves, and its sheer size is one of the things that stands out.
