This exhibition, “Home,” serves as a poignant exploration of identity, memory, and belonging through the lens of emerging visual artists. Following the thematic journey begun with Nsuo ne Nsa’s “Speak Your Truth,” the artists now turn their gaze to the embodiment of Home, this time hosted by Amba Gallery at Kempinski Mall.
Each piece in this exhibition reflects the artists’ personal and collective nostalgia for Ghana, weaving together a tapestry of experiences and emotions that define what it means to call Ghana: “home”. Explore interactive installations, palm wine and nsuo and an opportunity to purchase art.
Through abstract expressions, the exhibition offers a profound commentary on the concept of home, as seen and felt by those who are deeply connected to the Ghanaian Diaspora. “Home” captures the essence of returning to one’s roots, creating a space where the voices of the artists resonate with the broader narrative of belonging, identity, and the meaning of home.
We’ll feature an exclusive DJ set from DJ JoboSound London and free Palm Wine by Palmie.
Come and join us on the 27th and 28th December to express what Home means to you and celebrate Nsuo ne Nsa’s one year anniversary.
