Planning December in Ghana
December is busy, so a little planning helps.
Book accommodation early. Hotels and apartments in popular areas can become expensive or difficult to find as December approaches.
Allow for Accra traffic. Something that looks close on a map may take much longer to reach, particularly around major events.
Check event details before setting off. Venues, start times and entry arrangements can change.
Plan how you’re getting home. Uber and Bolt are useful, but demand can be high when thousands of people leave a major event at the same time.
And don’t fill every day. Some of the best Ghana experiences happen when you’ve left yourself enough time to explore.
